July is get-togethers with family and friends and cooking on an electric grill outside, playing ball with the dog, soaking in a hot tub and pool until your skin is puckered, leaving the sprinklers on for the wild birds and running through it too, walking barefoot on the grass in the backyard, laying in the hammock and falling asleep, taking long walks on country trails, cutting fresh wildflower bouquets to bring home, taking long drives to nowhere with dozens of cd’s, going to Farmers Markets and Street Fairs every week, going to outdoor music concerts under the stars, making delicious healthy snacks to take to the drive-in movies with the dog, going for soft ice cream or lemon ice, fireflies lighting up the backyard, owls hooting in the trees, big skies filled with stars.
